More than a club, we are a circle of curious minds — collectors, entrepreneurs, creatives — cosmopolitan by nature, scattered across the world, united by a single appetite: to live well, together. Direct access to scarce Grands Crus, ex-domaine only — rare cuvées, back vintages and large formats, before the market markup. Sourced through deeply personal relationships, built one winemaker at a time, that unlock bottles most never see offered. We say no more here, on purpose.

A private wine office for every member — sourcing, shipping, climate-controlled storage, cellar management, and personal guidance from acquisition to allocation. And when the journey calls for it, wine trips designed end to end: the estates, the tables, the doors that do not open on their own. Ask, and it is handled.

For years, C3llar grew the only way we trusted — by referral. A member spoke for you, or you did not hear of us at all. That has not changed in spirit, only in form. We now welcome a small number of applications directly, reviewed in cohorts, a few times a year. We read every one ourselves. We answer without delay. And we admit deliberately few — one city, and one table, at a time.

It takes seven or eight unhurried minutes — by design. We’d rather you said less, to more people, elsewhere — and more, to us, here. Every answer is read by a person, not a machine. If there is a fit, our Membership Team will be in touch — and we reply as soon as we can.

Everywhere our members are. We are not a place — we are a circle. Our gatherings travel: the great cities of the United States and the world, and the wine regions themselves. Where the night deserves to happen, that is where we are.
You apply. We read your application personally and consider it against the spirit of the circle. Admissions happen in small cohorts, a few times a year — historically by referral, now open to direct application as well. If there is a fit, our Membership Team reaches out to continue the conversation.
Winemaker dinners with the people behind the world’s greatest wines, visits to the domaines, and wine-led experiences set against the season’s most iconic cultural moments. Always intimate — a dozen at a table, rarely more. The point is never the guest list. It is the evening.
Wine is the thread, not the whole cloth. Around it: travel, culture, food, friendship. We value the moment over the bottle, and the people over the price of what’s in the glass. If you collect experiences more eagerly than labels, you will feel at home.
Deliberately small. We grow one city, and one table, at a time. We would sooner turn away a hundred fine applications than dilute one good room. Membership is not for sale and not for everyone — it is offered, to those who fit.
Terms are discussed privately, once we’ve spoken. They are not the first thing we’d like you to know about us — and rarely the deciding one for those who belong here.
