The Circle
Founders, builders and creatives from a dozen cities, done collecting status and collecting company instead. No registry. No performing. Friendships that outlast the vintage.
A private wine society · By referral & application
A small circle of collectors, founders and creatives
gathered around wines the market never sees
at tables set for a few.
The September cohort is almost closed. Applications are read in the order they arrive.
Who we are
C3llar brings together people who could be anywhere on a given night and choose the same table. Cosmopolitan, scattered across the world, united by one appetite: to live well, together. Wine is how we meet. The rest is what happens around it.
What membership opens
Founders, builders and creatives from a dozen cities, done collecting status and collecting company instead. No registry. No performing. Friendships that outlast the vintage.
Cheval Blanc in Miami. Groffier in New York. The paddock in Monaco. The people behind the world’s great wines, at your table — and seasons built around the moments everyone wants and few enter. A table, never a ballroom.
Direct, ex-domaine access to scarce Grands Crus — rare cuvées, back vintages, large formats — allocations that never reach a list. Built one winemaker at a time.
A private wine office for every member: sourcing, shipping, climate-controlled storage, cellar management — and wine trips built end to end, through doors that do not open on their own. Ask, and it is handled.
The bottles surface at auction, eventually. The evenings never do. The winemaker at your right hand, the cellar door left open, the company that makes both matter: these are offered, to members.
Partnering with the world’s finest wine estates to guarantee pristine, direct property sourcing for our Members. Our deeply personal relationships with owners and winemakers unlock exclusive estate access and private, shared moments.
The Chapters
For three years, C3llar grew one way: a member spoke for you, or you did not hear of us. That has not changed in spirit. A few times a year, we read a small number of direct applications, in cohorts, every one of them ourselves.
The September cohort is almost closed; the next opens November 1.
2026 terms end December 31.
The application
The application takes about eight minutes, and every one is read personally by the founders. If there is a fit, our Membership Team will be in touch.
Here on business? Partnerships, press and professional inquiries
C3llar was founded by four friends between Paris and Bordeaux: Romain Cousi, Michael Wijnen, Max Darmon and Simon Lurton. Twenty years spent building brands, gathering communities around them, and creating experiences for luxury houses. Wine is where it all converged. Every application is read by the four of them.
Since 2023: more than fifty winemaker dinners across American cities, wine trips from Piedmont to Burgundy, and seasons built around Art Basel Miami, F1 in Austin, and the Monaco Grand Prix. Our updated calendar of events for the 2026–2027 Season is available upon request.
Paris is home; America is where most of the circle lives. Our gatherings travel, from the great US cities to the wine regions themselves.
People who collect experiences more eagerly than labels: curious, well travelled, and still happy to make new friends at every age of life. We grow one city, and one table, at a time.
Winemaker dinners with the people behind the world’s great wines: Cheval Blanc in Miami, Groffier in New York. Visits to the domaines, and wine-led seasons around the world’s great cultural moments. Always one table, never a ballroom.
Wine is the thread, not the whole cloth. Around it: travel, food, racing, culture, friendship.
Terms are discussed privately, once we’ve spoken.
Through the form above. We read applications as they arrive, and answer promptly.
